PHP Developer

We are looking for a PHP Developer for a client that is an international business to business (B2B) company who makes software for gaming, sports websites and apps, based in Lisbon, Porto and Algarve.

Responsibilities & Expectations
-Integrate 3rd party APIs
-Carry out various development tasks as required by the company
-Create and maintain internal and support documentation
-System optimization for optimum user experience
-Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise-Work on multiple projects in a timely manner

Requirements
-3+ years experience with PHP, Apache, MYSQL, jQuery, - -javascript and AJAX without reliance on CMS
-Good knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
-Experience with software versioning systems and agile methodologies
-Driven, passionate individual who is able to work both in a team and individually
-Experience with custom frameworks
-Understanding of MVC design patterns
-Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
-Understanding accessibility and security compliance
-Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
-Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
-Creating database sachems that represent and support business processes
-Experience from a Multinational company would be considered as advantage
-Linux experience may be considered as an advantage 
-2/3 years experience in LEMP environment
-Highly skilled in PHP-Experience in OOP, REST with high load environment and API infrastructures
- proficient in writing and optimizing MySQL, including complex queries and architecting data solutions in high concurrency environment
- basic understanding of Linux Systems
- basic understanding of front end technology, including but not limited to JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
- proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN-Experience in API integrations with transactional workflows is a must, other betting and gambling experiences are an asset
