Job Description

Cloud Architect (Engineering | IoT)

  • Assistance with the design and building of reliable, fault tolerant cloud infrastructure following industry best practices
  • Experience with cloud-based IoT architectures (preference for Azure)
  • Experience with debugging communication protocols using instruments/analyzers
  • Familiarity with observability and best CI/CD practices, and management of cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge about Machine Learning problems, and handling data pipelines efficiently at scale
  • Document cloud infrastructure and policies
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement using tools 
  • Realize, terraform, cloud formation templates, and other similar tools
  • Work with Projects to help them adopt cloud infrastructure and services to reduce cost and deployment times
  • Understanding cloud security best practices and work with Security teams to design and implement a security infrastructure (data traceability, infrastructure and database access controls, etc)
  • Serve as a technical point of contract for cloud services and help with communication of cloud services to projects
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Languages: Java, .NET, Python, PHP, C, C++
  • Tools and Platforms. Kubernetes, Hadoop, Spark, Data Warehouses 
  • Open-minded, Hands-on attitude and good command of English language


  • Define the organization’s cloud computing strategy
  • Create documentation outlining system design
  • Construction of cloud-based servers
  • Installing and configuring software, identifying, and correcting problems
  • Managing data transfer to cloud based system
  • Analyze in-house systems for potential migration to the cloud, creating production and migration schedules
  • Project the potential costs, benefits of cloud computing adoption
  • Ensure cloud-based systems and programs are secure and comply with security regulations
  • Integrate ML pipelines into databases
  • Architectural software programming, general network communication protocols, file systems and database access.
