Network Engineer

• Academic training relevant to the role
• 3 to 4 years of experience in designing, managing and supporting LAN and WAN networks
• More than 3 years of experience in Cisco Routing and Switching (Nexus and Catalysts) and Fortinets (switching and routing)
• More than 2 years of experience in NAC (802.1x and others) and Load Balancers (NGINX and Fortiweb)
• More than 2 years of experience in Zoning and segmentation (Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls) and perimeter design (Fortinet and Checkpoint VPN)
• More than 2 years of experience in WIFI (Wireless Cisco and Fortinet)
• Experience with Voice over IP protocols (Cisco, Asterisk and FreePBX)
• Knowledge of network architecture and LAN and WAN protocols - SDWAN, MPLS and others
• Solid knowledge of network management and monitoring principles and platforms (Radius, TACACs, Zabbix, PRTG, oAuth, LanSweeper and others) 
• Knowledge and experience working with DNS, DHCP, AD/ADFS, Digital Certificates, SIP/SIPTrunk, CallManagers, proxies and reverse proxies, and others
• Knowledge and/or experience in network design and segmentation/segregation is valued, as well as zoning and DMZ design and strategies
• Work experience in the “travel” industry is valued
