Data Architect
Requirements:
• Have a Master’s degree (preferably in computer science) or equivalent by experience.
• Have a first relevant professional experience as a data architect and have worked for some years as a developer in Data & Analytics - you understand the system development life cycle, project management approaches, and requirements/design/test techniques.
• Have knowledge of Data Architecture principles (e.g. Data as a Product).
• Understand the importance of Data Governance and have experience in its application.
• Be capable of thinking in abstract and conceptual ways and are able to convey the big data picture to others
• Have proven experience in data modeling and design
• Have experience in Microsoft Azure – Azure Data Factory – Azure ML Studio – Azure Synapse – Azure Analysis Services – PowerBI
• Have experience in SAP BW/BW4 and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Have affinity and knowledge of both established and emerging data technologies
• Understand established data management and reporting technologies
• Have some knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, data visualization, and unstructured data
• Knowledge of data quality, data catalog and data security frameworks and tools is a plus.
• Be a mentor and coach. Ideally, you are used to work with offshore teams.
• Have a good knowledge of English and Dutch or French (knowledge of the second national language is considered an asset).
