Lead Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to join our team:
 
Responsibilities

·        Team and pipeline management
·        Working together with the UI/UX designers team in the development of interfaces
·        Take ownership of all frontend applications and their CI/CD pipelines
·        Be responsible for maintaining and extending a Frontend architecture as similar as possible throughout all the applications
·        Engineer, design and estimate solutions for new feature requests together with product team
·        Reviewing designs created by designers to ensure they are functional and meet usability standards
·        Participating in code reviews and testing new features to ensure they are compatible with existing features
·        Coach the frontend team and elevate their technical skills
·        Debug errors, troubleshoot issues and perform routine performance optimizations
·        Implement unit, integration and component tests
 
Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
·        Previous experience working as a frontend developer
·        In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and frontend languages
·        Experienced in using code versioning tools such as Git or equivalent
·        Experience with user interface design
·        Experience in using React, or any other similar front-end framework
·        Good interpersonal and communication skills.
·        Lead experience is a must
·        100% face-to-face in Leiria (where is the office), until you meet the teams. In the medium term, it can switch to a hybrid regime.
