Cyber Security Engineer
Key responsibilities
1. Provide CISO-as-a-Service (CISOaaS) to entities & to assist with the overall reinforcement of their security posture.
2. Perform a cybersecurity maturity assessment to identify gaps in the security program, define a baseline, As-Is state, to-be desired state and establish a roadmap.
3. Assist IT teams with the implementation of projects acting as an interim security officer, execute risk assessments.
4. Evaluate the existing architecture for threats and risk and make recommendations.
5. Advise on cybersecurity risk and governance program.
6. Create information security policies, procedures, guidelines and processes.
7. Assist in reaching or maintaining compliance to information security legal, contractual, or internal requirements.
8. Define, test crisis management, business continuity, or disaster recovery planning.
9. Set up reporting activities related to the status of information security.
10. Organize security awareness programs.
Requirements
1. Bachelor or a Master’s degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science.
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.
3. Experience in multiple security domains (Risk Management, Governance, Network and Application security, Vulnerability Management, IAM …) and experience with various security technologies and tools.
4. Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS.
5. Experience with Cloud computing (Azure, AWS).
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity.
7. Proven project management skills.
8. Can operate with a great deal of autonomy, results-oriented and able to deliver within preset deadlines.
9. Fluent in English
