Backend Test Automation Engineer

Functions: 
• Design new test cases or update existing ones to cover the evolution of the eDelivery software products 
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the eDelivery automated testing platform, targeting a level of at least 80% automation of all the existing test cases 
• Documentation of the carried-out activities through JIRA tickets and wiki pages 
• Remote participation to daily status meetings and regular planning, status and review meetings with the eDelivery team 
• If necessary during the period of execution of the task, perform on-demand testing and full test report covering Domibus, SMP and/or SML bugfix releases

• Participation to the quality assurance processes with the testing of Domibus artefacts according to the standard way of delivering within the eDelivery team 

Technologies/Skills 
• Backend testing, experience with test automation, Object Oriented Design, and programming languages ( Java, JavaScript, SQL/PL-SQL) a plus 
• Strong background in using and managing both front-end and back-end testing tools (e.g. Selenium, SoapUI, Jmeter, Postman, Cucumber, Hadoop, Hive, etc.), with emphasis on back-end testing tools. 
• Accountable for analyzing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and preparing test cases/scripts 
• Experience creating, modifying and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and automated test scripts 
• Extensive experience with relational database management systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) 
• Proven proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL 
• Proven experience with Defect Tracking and management tools (e.g., ALM, AGM, JIRA or others) and Reports errors through a structured defect tracking process 
• Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) models 
• Experience in multiple environments and/or on multiple operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mainframe) and technologies (.Net, Web technologies, etc.) 
• Extensive experience with relational database management systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) 

Valuable 
• Ideally with a background on java development 
• Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Kanban and other lean techniques); 

Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
