DB2 DBA - Remote
Responsabilities:
• Create or modify application database objects through data definition language (DDL) scripts that shall be delivered
• Upload data into application databases following procedures that shall be delivered
• Set up back ups and other housekeeping
• Monitor the mailboxes / JIRA
• Monitor EPO incident system
• Report database performance and communicate
• Performance improvement changes
• Deliver the information requested by client
• Deliver DBA expertise
• Restore/recover database objects
• Apply emergency security and stability patches (PDFs)
• Apply routine maintenance upgrades
• Apply product version upgrades
• Perform periodical health check-up exercises
• Set-up and scheduling of housekeeping scripts to reorganise
• Perform a periodical test database recovery exercise (DR)
• Restore a full production backup into a test sandbox every 6 months
• Restore data from production into development environments for testing purposes
• Priority 1 Incidents
• Priority 2 Incidents
• Production changes
Requirements:
• Fluent English
• Experience with CDC would also be desirable
