Technical Project Manager - Brussels

Technical/ICT Skills:
-You have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and you have minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar position
-You have a good overall knowledge on various ICT technologies like Active Directory / Azure / Networking / Backup / Telephony / O365 / Citrix / SQL / Linux
-You have worked on technical/infrastructure projects in the past
-You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Experienced in working in an international context, in direct contact with the business, and with external IT service providers
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of technical project plan.
-Proven ability for management of technical projects
-Possess scope control and change management proven knowledge.
-Manage resources and staff to support project schedules.
-Produce and maintain accurate project schedules and understand schedule resources planning
-Manage complete project financial cycle.
-Track and report project finances.
-Create budget, review cost reports and change notices.
-Prepare monthly progress reports.
-Evaluate labour cost and manpower requirements against budget constraints.
-Maintain document control systems – create documentation on technical requirements.
-Coordinate with other project managers and vendors to prepare and align on budget.
-General knowledge in software tools, application and enterprise architecture for insurance company.
-Attribute daily tasks for the technical personnel and ensuring a follow up on those to measure the progress of established milestones
-Have technical team meetings on a regular basis to track progress and address any questions/challenges of the projects
-Managing technical risks
-Extravert and pro-active profile with straight forward and hands-on mentality
-Good at coordinating and communicative as well as motivation skills
-Excellent time management and organisational skills
-Project and change management proven knowledge
-Certifications in IT management / management (ITIL, Prince2, PMBOK,…)
-Experience in the Insurance sector (business side)
-Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
